Book signing 12/23! [17 Dec 2009|10:42pm] orlandofl [fabulousfrock] Hi Orlando! I am a local author with my first book signing coming up on December 23 at the Oviedo Borders at 5 PM. If anyone is looking for a last-minute gift for a book-loving girl 12 and up or a grown woman who does not scoff at young adult literature, it would be supremely awesome if you want to show up and buy a copy of Magic Under Glass! Being a debut author is nerve-racking. It's a romantic fantasy set in a pseudo-Victorian world, based loosely on Jane Eyre, about a girl who falls in love with a ghost trapped in the body of a clockwork man. It is a nice hardcover published by Bloomsbury and I will not only sign it, but draw a sketch of the main character (well, unless a gazillion people show up and my hand falls off, but that would be an awesome problem to have) and give you a nice bookmark. I'm looking for this one brand of mustard, Cracovia, it's in a tall cylindrical jar with a white label and blue lettering, haven't been able to find it yet.
